OnePlus: Official CM12S (Android 5.) OTA Will Land In Mid To Late March, Same Goes With OxygenOS Release
- Device Updates
- Lollipop 5.0/5.1
OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei mentioned on Twitter early today the company’s Only phone is going to be receiving its CyanogenMod 12S update (read: Lollipop) in “mid to late” March. Pei also implied that the similar timeline was at spot for the business’s in-house-ant Oxygen OS ROM.
Pei noted – as a result of claims that current 12S nightlies appear stable – that “proprietary motorists, code, QA, [and] certifications” were accountable for the organization missing its 90-day deadline to update the telephone to Android 5..
@rajarshi_10 We released an L alpha a while ago, but a more stable build (OxygenOS & CM12S) will need to wait until March. Sorry for delay!

Given OnePlus’ rather ugly receding with Cyanogen Corporation., the truth that an update is originating whatsoever is nice news. I’m not sure if I’d rely on there as being a CM13S for that One, though. However, maybe Oxygen OS would be the… breath of outdoors (sorry) the OPO must really become popular.
